PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- Key Lime Air doing business as Denver Air Connection began their two-year stint as Pierre’s Essential Air Service provider Thursday. Five passengers left Pierre on the morning flight and four on the afternoon flight. Thirty people arrived in Pierre Thursday afternoon including Justin Dilges of Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Dilges says he isn’t aware of concerns by Pierre city officials about quality and reilablilty.
Flying out of Pierre Thursday afternoon was Terri Johnson and family. Johnson says Denver Air Connection ended up being their only option to fly from Pierre.
Johnson also had no concerns about Denver Air’s service.

The afternoon flight to Denver was delayed nearly an hour due to a ground stop in Denver because of severe weather near Denver International Airport.
