PIERRE, S.D. (DRG News) – The South Dakota Discovery Center in Pierre has reached its goal of establishing an endowment fund through the South Dakota Community Foundation.

Discovery Center executive director Rhea Waldman says they’ve raised $80,000.

Waldman says the endowment fund will hopefully increase.

Every dollar goes towards equity in education and supports the Discovery Center’s mission to provide South Dakotans science opportunities that spark exploration and new discovery at every age level.
