PIERRE, S.D. (DRG News) – The South Dakota Discovery Center in Pierre is reconvening face to face camps and activities this week.

Education director Bree Oatman says members are eager to have the Center partially open again.

Discovery Center summer intern Rilee Rowse (rouse, like house) says this week they’re holding a middle school astrophysics camp and next week is a camp for grades 3-5.

Oatman says camps in July will also cover a vast array of topics.

Campers will not be required to wear masks, but may bring one to put on if it makes them feel more comfortable.
