SIOUX FALLS, S.D.(KELO)- An argument over the treatment of a dog led to a man being shot several times.

The argument between the suspect and victim occurred late Sunday night outside of an apartment building in southern Sioux Falls.

Officer Sam Clemens:

The victim then put his dog away before coming back to confront the suspect.

Clemens says the victim’s injuries were non-life threatening.

33-year-old William Moorman was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated, and aggravated assault.
