District 1 candidates Tamara Lesnar & Josh Dennert express opposition to Referred Law 21

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- Last Saturday, the South Dakota Farmers Union hosted a candidate forum addressing farm related issues.  One of the topics discussed was the issue of eminent domain that could be addressed during the 2025 legislative session.  One of the candidate not invited to the forum was District 1 House Candidate Tamara(Ta-Mar-a) Lesnar.  Lesnar responded to comments made at the forum on Wednesday.

Lesnar believes comments made at the forum was just for political rhetoric.

Lesnar discuss a U.S. Supreme Court that maybe impacting what’s happening in South Dakota.

Lesnar talks about how the state used the Supreme Court to push for their version of the Landowner’s Bill of Rights.

Lesnar was asked if elected how she would address eminent domain during the 2025 legislative session.

The Libertarian Party of South Dakota have declared they will be opposed to Referred Law 21 to be voted on in November.  Lesnar explains why she and the party are opposed to it.

Libertarian Candidate Josh Dennert also expressed his opposition to Referred Law 21 at a candidate forum held at the K.O.Lee Library.

Reminder that Referred Law 21 doesn’t address eminent domain as that is not included in the Landowners’ Bill of Rights.
