ABERDEEN, S.D. (Hub City Radio)-

Candidate for the District 3 House Spencer Sommers(R) appeared on the KSDN Midday Report this week.  We address several topics with him.

Sommers believes data centers should be addressed on a local level instead on a statewide level.

Sommers talked about what he learned since the Aberdeen City Council addressed this starting in August.

Sommers talked about his view on how the legislature can address the issue of license plate readers.

Sommers was asked about how he would address property tax relief for businesses and agriculture.

Sommers believed the legislature’s roll in education is primarily funding public schools.

Sommers is on the Board for HAPI, so he talked about how housing can be addressed.

Sommers was asked how to establish a good working relationship between the legislative and executive branch.
