HUDSON, S.D.(WNAX)- Donn Larson of Hudson is running for the District 16 Senate seat.

He says he has the time and interest now.

Larson held the position in 1995 and 96. He says there isn’t any overriding issue for him.

Larson says he didn’t like the legislature overturning ballot issues that had been approved by voters.

Larson, a democrat, faces incumbent republican Senator Jim Bolin of Canton and independent Brian Burge (burj) of Beresford.
