ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Aberdeen Downtown Association is trying to help downtown businesses by promoting gift cards.

Shelley Westra-Heier, Executive Director of the Association, said a vital downtown is crucial for every city.

She said that businesses need the assistance, now more than ever.

Westra-Heier said none of the downtown activities scheduled throughout the summer have been canceled. Things are just in a holding pattern.
