ABERDEEN, S.D.(AberdeenInsider)- Downtown businesses will have deals and specials running from July 27 through 29 for Downtown Days, a new variation on what’s traditionally been called Crazy Days.
Aberdeen Downtown Association Executive Director Alexa Sheldon said residents are encouraged to shop or browse at each of the downtown businesses to see their specials.
Another event during this stretch is the free downtown concert on Thursday, July 27. Music by The Chad Cook Band begins at 7 p.m., and gates open at 6 p.m. Sheldon talks about the sponsors for this & the Hats Off to Ag that is preceding this.
The Red Rooster Coffee House, 218 S. Main St., also has entertainment planned on Friday, July 28 and Saturday, July 29. Folk/Americana musicians Matthew Fowler and Dana Cooper perform Friday at 6 p.m. Acoustic rock singer/songwriter Bryan Bielanski performs with music by local artists starting at 6 p.m. Saturday. The cover charge is $8 on Friday and $5 on Saturday.
