YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The drop in Covid-19 infections is taking the pressure off health care providers. Liz Healy is infection control specialist at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton.
Healy says they now have time to look at what worked and what didn’t during the pandemic.
Healy says they are looking at the possibility of another wave of Covid-19 in the fall.
The state Health Department is reporting about 3,300 active cases, with over 230,000 recovered cases since they began tracking the numbers two years ago.
