Drug Take Back Day coming up on Saturday

ABERDEEN, S.D. (Hub City Radio)-

Drug Take Back Day is coming up this Saturday.  It’s the second of two scheduled for each year.  This is the time to allow individuals to dispose of any unused prescription drugs.

According to the South Dakota Attorney General’s Office, back in April nationwide over 321 tons of unneeded medications were returned.

In Aberdeen, that can be done at the drop box at the Aberdeen Police Department lobby from 10AM-2PM.

Aberdeen Police Chief Tanner Jondahl reminds everyone that you can drop unused prescriptions off at their drop box Monday through Friday from 8AM-5PM.
