PIERRE, S.D.(KMIT)- The South Dakota Department of Social Services Division of Behavioral Health has announced a new campaign entitled “Notes to Self.”  DSS Cabinet Secretary Matt Althoff talks about the campaign.

He says there are mental health warning signs and resources for people who need them.

Althoff says the campaign hopes to take a multi-faceted approach.

September is Suicide Prevention Month.  Help is available with a phone call to 988, which is the mental health hotline.
