WARNER, S.D.(AberdeenAmericanNews)- Grant Seaman has joined the DTOM 22/0 Foundation Board of Directors.
The group a nonprofit organization to help struggling veterans.
Seaman was raised in Warner, where he attended high school. He went to college at South Dakota State University. Currently, he is the President of BankNorth.
Seaman has been involved with The Salvation Army, Junior Achievement, the South Dakota Bankers Association and the Warner/Stratford Lions Club.
DTOM is a military acronym that stands for Don’t Tread On Me, and 22/0 signifies the 22 veterans who commit suicide daily and a goal to lower that number to zero. The DTOM 22/0 Foundation and veterans ranch near Warner provide veterans a place for healing and recovery by positively affecting their lives through hope, faith and family activities, according to the group’s website.
