Due to scheduling conflict, Brian Baumgartner will not appear at South Dakota Film Festival

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCtiyRadio)- Due to a scheduling conflict, Brian Baumgartner will not be appearing at the South Dakota Film Festival in Aberdeen next month.

Baumgartner’s team released the following statement:

“Due to scheduling conflicts, Brian Baumgartner will not be able to attend the Electric Jesus screening Saturday, September 17th.”

Statement from the Electric Jesus:

“The Jeez Team is bummed Brian won’t be able to make the South Dakota Film Festival screening of Electric Jesus.  His performance in the film is wonderful, and working with him on and in support of the project has been a joy.  EJ stars Shannon Hutchinson and Wyatt Lenhart, along with composer and music producer Daniel Smith and writer-director Chris White looks forward to seeing you all at the festival.”

Statement released by SDFF:

“SDFF was excited to welcome actor and author Brian Baumgartner to this year’s event, our first “in person” event since COVID.  We are disappointed that this unexpected development in his schedule prevents him from attending.  However, we know Film Festival guests will enjoy the special event including the screening of “Electric Jesus” followed by a forum and live musical performance with two of the film’s stars, and its composer and director.”
