Early results from today’s election

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Results are coming in from today’s election.
Here are some early totals:

In the race for Brown County Commissioner (two members will be elected): Rachel Kippley-R 6,430 (36%), Duane Sutton-R 6,047 (34%), Michael E. Nehls-D 5,295 (30%).

In the race for State Representative District 3 (two members will be elected): Drew Dennert-R 4,903 (32%), Carl Perry-R 4,278 (28%), Leslie McLaughlin-D 3,160 (21%), Justin Roemmick-D 3,031 (20%).

In the race for State Representative District 1 (two members will be elected): Tamara St. John-R 1,383 (36.2 %), Jennifer Healy Keintz-D 1,306 (34.2 %), Steven D. McCleerey-D 1,129 (29.6%).
In the race for State Representative District 2 (two members will be elected): Kaleb W. Weis-R 1,011 (52%), Lana Greenfield-R 952 (48%).

In the race for State Senator District 1: Susan Wismer-D 982 (51.8%), Michael H. Rohl-R 913 (48.2%).

State Senator District 2: Brock L. Greenfield-R, unopposed.

State Senator District 3: Al Novstrup-R, unopposed.

In the race for United States Senator: Mike Rounds-R 24,717 (66.6%), Dan Ahlers-D 12,379 (33.4%).

In the race for United States Representative: Dusty Johnson-R 29,248 (83.1%), Randy “Uriah) L. Luallin-D 5,944 (16.9%).

In the race for Public Utilities Commissioner: Gary Hanson-R 40,890 (69.9%), Remi W.B. Bald Eagle-D 14,693 (25.1%), Devin Saxon-L 2,878 (4.9%).

Supreme Court Retention: Yes, 8,126 (82%), No 1,736 (18%).

Constitutional Amendment A (medical marijuana): Yes 25,277 (68.6%), No 5,834 (31.4%).

Constitutional Amendment B (sports betting): Yes 19,945 (55.4%), No 16,042 (44.6%).

Initiated Measure 26 (recreational marijuana): Yes 18,723 (51.1%), No 17,946 (48.9%).

Charter Amendment (home rule charter): Yes 4,986 (64%), No 2,815 (36%).
