EAS service extended to November 18th

WASHINGTON, D.C.(HubCityRadio)- The USDOT has announced that funding for the Essential Air Service for airports have been extended to November 18th.

The funding will allow the USDOT to extend the program and to subsidize payments and grant reimbursements.

Aberdeen Transportation Manager Rich Krokel indicated for now the shutdown has had no impact on the Aberdeen Regional Airport.

The USDOT will revisit this as they get closer to November 18th.
