ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – This weekend marks the opening of the East River deer hunting season.

Some hunters will be out before sunrise on Saturday, Dec. 23.

Nick Cochran, Conservation Officer with the Game, Fish and Parks Department, said there is something important to keep in mind this season.

Cochran said it is always important to wear the right clothing to help ensure safety.

He also pointed out one significant issue related to deer hunting.
