YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The East River Electric Power Cooperative Board of Directors has named Bob Sahr as their next general manager. Sahr, who is currently the general counsel for the co-op will take over on August first for Tom Boyko who is retiring.

Sahr says he is looking forward to the move.

Sahr says he wants to continue East River’s mission.

Sahr says they face the same issues as all electric utilities.

Sahr has been with East River since 2006. He also served on the Public Utilities Commission from 2001 to 2006.
