OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- While the economy is still growing in the nine state Mid America region, that growth is slowing.
Ernie Goss, an economics professor at Creighton University in Omaha, says there are some positive signs.
Goss says he expects the Federal Reserve to continue to be aggressive in rate hikes to slow inflation.
Goss says mortgage rates will rise rapidly.
Goss says he expects inflation, now at a nine percent rate, to slow to under seven percent by the end of the year.
