OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The economy in the nine state Mid America region is slowing and that is expected to continue.
Creighton University economics professor Ernie Goss forecasts little growth through mid year.
Goss says flat lining the economy is about what the Federal Reserve Board is aiming for.
Goss says he also expects interest rates to continue to rise.
Goss oversees the monthly survey of business managers in the nine states from Minnesota and the Dakotas to Arkansas and Oklahoma.
