OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The economy in the Mid America region continues to grow despite continuing challenges.

Creighton University economics professor Ernie Goss says their survey shows a slight decline in the past month.

Goss says it appears there are sectional recessions.

Goss says there are still issues business managers are concerned about.

Goss says he expects short- and long-term interest rates to continue to rise.
