OMAHA, N.E.(WNAX)- The economy in the nine state, Mid America region is still growing, but there are signs that is slowing.

Creighton University professor Ernie Goss says their August survey shows those signs.

Goss says they asked business managers about the issues they are seeing.

Goss says while businesses are still looking for more people, that demand is slowing.

Goss coordinates the survey in the region that extends from Minnesota and the Dakotas to Arkansas.
