WATERTOWN, SD (hubcityradio.com) – The Great Plains Lutheran Varsity Invite featured strong competition across both the boys and girls fields, with Clark/Willow Lake standing out as the top overall program on the day. In the boys team race, Edmunds Central claimed the championship with a +11 (227), edging out Clark/Willow Lake (+20, 236) in a tight battle near the top. Doland (+31, 247) and Hamlin (+33, 249) were also in the mix, while the rest of the field rounded out a competitive team leaderboard.

Individually, Seth Hettick of Edmunds Central set the pace with a round of 73 (+1) to earn medalist honors. He was followed closely by Larz Tvedt (Wolsey-Wessington) at 74 (+2), while a trio of players tied at +3 included Aiden Abraham (Hamlin), Harrison Beyers (Edmunds Central), and Kaiden Weinreis (Doland). Clark/Willow Lake also had a strong showing with multiple top-10 finishes from Cade Gaikowski, Maverick Clausen, and Kooper Wookey.

On the girls side, Clark/Willow Lake dominated both individually and as a team. Brynn Roehrich delivered a standout performance, firing a 69 (-3) to earn top individual honors and lead her team to the top of the standings. Faith Roehrich and Mallory Nelson also contributed solid rounds as Clark/Willow Lake secured the team title.

Sage Gaikowski (Waubay/Summit) finished runner-up individually at +11 (83), while Olivia Knox (Doland) also posted a strong 87 (+15).
