ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The Aberdeen School Board on Monday recognized two people with connections to public schools.

Assistant Superintendent Camille Kaul went over the accomplishments of Simmons Elementary Principal Kim Aman.  Aman was named 2026 Elementary Principal of the Year.

School Board member Gayle Bortnem earlier this year was recognized with the South Dakota Early Childhood Education Legacy Award.
