PIERRE, S.D.(WNAX)- Whether its small businesses or large manufacturers in South Dakota, the main complaint is the same.

That’s Nathan Sanderson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Retailers Association, who says employers are expanding their worker search.

Sanderson says many businesses are working to hang on to their current employees.

The State Department of Labor has about 15,000 open jobs on its website.
