ABERDEEN, S.D. (Hub City Radio)-

Aberdeen School Superintendent Dr. Becky Guffin talked about the enrollment for the 2026-27 year.

Guffin informed the board that there are fewer students this year compared to last year and a key reason is the birth rate in Brown County.

Guffin compared the attendance to that of the last five years.

Guffin told the board that this has been an issue with public schools all across South Dakota.
