Enrollment up in the Board of Regents schools

PIERRE, S.D.(KELO)- South Dakota’s public universities are enjoying strong enrollment growth again this year…increasing by five percent over last year.

That comes as schools elsewhere are watching trends go in the opposite direction.

Board of Regents President Tim Rave says state efforts to hold tuition steady play a big role.

The Legislature and Governor have frozen tuition rates for the last five years.
