WATERTOWN, S.D.(KWAT)–Lake Area Technical College has announced Erin Brockovich will be the featured speaker at the school on October 9th, as part of the Feuerstein (feer-stine) Series.

Brockovich is known for building a lawsuit against a utility company for their groundwater contamination.

Her story was depicted in an award-winning film starring actress Julia Roberts.

The 21st Feuerstein Series event will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday October 9th at LATC.
