The Brown County Commission heard the 2nd reading on an ordinance to move an Excise Tax , Charirman Duane Sutton has more.

Sutton went on to say the voters should decide.

Commissioner Drew Dennert echoed the view and offered reasons why he’ll support the motion..

The Commission also heard the repeated opinions from Dennis jones about the preservation of the “Woman’s Building” at the Fairgrounds. Fair Board President Nancy Radke explained more views of why the time is past for preservation, taking nothing away from the history or legacy it would leave behind.

Commissioners moved to Surplus the building at the next meeting, and will be set for removal or demolition.
