PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- Just a day after bringing it’s findings to the Legislature’s Joint Committee on Appropriations, the Study Committee on County Funding and Services brought it’s final report to it’s final stop, the Executive Board. Representative Will Mortenson found favor with the Committee’s proposal to support Cybersecurity protections for counties.
Senator Lee Schoenbeck says counties have to take some initiative when funding opportunities present themselves.
Mortenson says while the summer study completed it’s job some of the bill proposals need work.
Legislators on the Executive Board approved reports from nine different interim committees during their meeting.
