OMAHA, Neb. (WNAX) – While the economy in the Mid America region is expanding, there are continuing risks.
Ernie Goss, director of Creighton University’s Economic Forecasting Group, says most businesses can’t find the workers they need.
Goss says the recent trade deals will help regional businesses.
Goss says presidential politics may also have a negative impact.
The recent monthly survey showed the overall business index at 57.2, up from December’s 50.6. Any number over 50 indicates a growing economy.
