VERMILLION, S.D. (WNAX) – While there will be another option for post-secondary education in Sioux Falls this fall, it will take some time to fill out all the classes.
University of South Dakota President Sheila Gestring says they are aiming at the fall of 2020 as the full startup for the Community College for Sioux Falls.
Gestring says there is a cooperative effort to identify their potential target group.
Gestring says the community college will offer all of their current associate degree courses but will add a new degree aimed at tech school students.
South Dakota State University and Dakota State University are partners in the former University Center.
