ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- The annual Fall Residential Cleanup will run from August 30th to September 14th.  At Tuesday’s Brown County Commission meeting, Landfill Manager Mike Scott asked the commission to waive the fees.

Scott inform the commission this cycle is landfill only.

Scott compared the numbers from the spring this year to that of 2024 spring and fall numbers.

Scott reminds the people that use only asphalt roads to access the landfill.

Hours of operations are Monday-Saturday from 8am-5pm and closed on Sunday.  they will be open Labor Day, Monday September 1st.

All loads going to the landfill must be covered and/or secured.  If you have any questions about what you can bring during the free cleanup, you can call them at (605) 626-4019.
