RAPID CITY, S.D. (KBHB) – Forward Together is the theme for the 103rd Annual South Dakota Farm Bureau Convention, which opens Friday at the Holiday Inn Rushmore Plaza in Rapid City.
The two-day event will feature though provoking speakers on issues facing the ag industry.
Dani Hanson with SDFB gives us a preview of this year’s convention.
One big topic being discussed is policy development on the county level. Josh Geigle is President of the Pennington/Jackson County Farm Bureau Chapter.
On Saturday, speakers lined up will discuss property taxes, public lands and environmental law and its impact on agriculture.
The convention kicks off on Friday 1 p.m. Registration for the event is still open by visiting www.sdfbf.org.
