FAULKTON, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – The Faulkton Craft Fair is heading into its 46th year, but it’s safe to say there has never been another year quite like the current one.
Beverly King, co-chair of the event, said that precautions are being taken to keep everyone safe at the event during the coronavirus pandemic.
King said that proceeds from the fair benefit the local arts council.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. The event annually coincides with the start of pheasant hunting season. For more information you can contact King at (605) 380-8444 or visit the event’s Facebook page.
King said that vendors from South Dakota, North Dakota and Iowa will be present. She said the virus will keep some past vendors away, but that new ones will be present.
Art plays a prominent role in the community with numerous murals located around town.
