PIERRE, S.D.(KCCR)- Pierre city officials are continuing to encourage support for flights to the Twin Cities.  Airport Liaison to the Pierre City Commission Jamie Huizenga says February enplanements were impacted by weather.

February is one of the slower months of the year for air travel from Pierre.  In 2022, 999 enplanements were recorded with 972 last year.  Huizenga says the city would like to see Minneapolis enplanements a little better.
