It’s been announced that the Fed Ex facility on South 7th street in Aberdeen will close indefinitely. Which raises questions about the reasons behind the move. After several attempts to find out more, Fed Ex has declined to comment on record, only to say, it is part of the network transformation strategy. The FedEx facility in Aberdeen will close June 27. Team members at the facility were notified several months in advance, and certain employees will be offered other roles within the company. For customers who have used this location for package drop off, other locations providing these services can be found at fedex.com.

According to their website and being redirected by staff, the closest service locations to Aberdeen are Groton, Redfield and Britton.
