OMAHA, Neb. (WNAX) – While Congress argues over the next economic stimulus plan, other parts of the federal government are pumping aid out to states and businesses.

Creighton University Professor Ernie Goss says the Federal Reserve continues to be very active.

Goss says the economic rebound appears to be slower than many had expected.

While the economy is growing, Goss says that could be choked off quickly.

The monthly Mid America economic survey, which Goss coordinates, has shown rapid growth since the April plunge.
