WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – Disaster recovery funds are flowing from the Federal Emergency Management Agency following damage from the early spring storms and flooding.
FEMA spokesperson Pam Saulsby says there are some strings attached to those dollars.
Saulsby says there is a specific list the funds can be spent on.
Saulsby says if you got money from FEMA, make sure you keep track of spending and receipts.
Saulsby says just over one million dollars has gone out to people that had individual damage from the March storms.
