PIERRE, S.D. (WNAX) – Officials from the South Dakota Office of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency are meeting with officials around the state to talk about public assistance for damages from the March storms and flooding.
Tyler Steen with the state office says they are hearing from county and city officials.
Steen says they plan to get to all the areas that are in the disaster declaration.
Steen says they will work with officials on getting the information they need.
FEMA has estimated about $43 million in damages to public facilities.
