FEMA officials continue to work in South Dakota

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – Damage assessments from the March storms and flooding are continuing across South Dakota.

Brian Hvinden with the Federal Emergency Management Agency says their people are out working with cities and counties.

Hvinden says they are looking for lots of damage related documentation.

Hvinden says there are a lot of factors that will determine when federal funds will flow to local governments.

Hvinden says there are about 200 FEMA personal still in the state.
