YANKTON, S.D.(WNAX)- The Federal Emergency Management Agency is rolling out updated flood maps for areas around and in the City of Yankton.

City Manager Amy Leon says FEMA made some changes to the initial maps they released.

Leon says while the maps are called preliminary, they don’t expect many changes from this point.

Leon says some potential flood impacted areas were rolled back.

Leon says there will be public presentations and input sessions with FEMA in June.
