FEMA wants people with storm and flood damage to register

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WNAX) – South Dakota has received the fourth federal disaster declaration this year.

This time for September storm and flood damage in parts of southeastern South Dakota.

Phil Wernisch with the Federal Emergency Management Agency says they want people with damages to register.

Wernisch says they need some basic information from people when they register.

Wernisch says other agencies may have been in contact with people in storm damaged areas.

Wernisch says they will be bringing more people back into the state and again opening local contact offices over the next few weeks.
