TRIPP, S.D. (WNAX) – As preparations continue for the 2021 session of the South Dakota legislature, committee slots are being filled.

Representative Caleb Finck of Tripp will be Chairman of the House Transportation Committee. He says it follows his interest in that area.

Finck says keeping the state highway system strong is their first priority.

Finck says many county and township roads and bridges need more attention and money.

Finck says he is hearing from local officials around the state about the tough road conditions in their areas.
