Fire causes significant damage to Gary’s Auto Body and Accessories

ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – On Jan. 16, 2021 at 6 a.m., Aberdeen Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire involving Gary’s Auto Body and Accessories at 2502 6th Ave SE. On arrival crews found heavy smoke and fire coming from the commercial occupancy. The fire was quickly attacked by firefighters and was contained to the building of origin, but there is significant fire, smoke and water damage throughout the business. There were no injuries to firefighting crews or civilians.  Fire crews remained on scene for about 6 hours. The fire is currently under investigation and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
