ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press Release) – On Thursday, May 28, at 12:41 p.m., Aberdeen Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire involving a single family home at 925 S 10th Street. On arrival crews found light smoke coming from this residence. The fire was quickly located by firefighters and contained to the porch and a small addition of the home.
There was minor smoke damage throughout the rest of the home. An adult occupant was home at the time of the fire and made it out safely after being alerted by a neighbor. Fire crews were on scene for about two hours. The fire is currently under investigation.
Aberdeen Fire Rescue Responding Units – Truck 1, Rescue 2, Rescue 3, Medic 1, Medic 2, Fire Prevention and Battalion ‘3’.
