ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Aberdeen Fire Rescue responded to a Tuesday morning structure fire at Wylie Park.

Battalion Chief Stacy Vrchota said the fire was noticed by a person walking or running near the building.

He said hay in the building made extinguishing the fire a bit more difficult.

Five goats and several chickens were lost in the fire.

He said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
