First results coming in for the Primary Election

ABERDEEN, S.D. (HubCityRadio.com) – Results are coming in from today’s Primary Election.

Here are the totals with the first of the polling centers reporting.

In the race for the Aberdeen School Board (three members will be elected): Kevin Burckhard has 2,248 votes (31 percent), Brian Sharp has 2,122 votes (29 percent), Aaron Schultz has 2,001 votes (27 percent), and Randy Evans has 981 votes (13 percent)

The totals for Aberdeen City Council SE Ward so far are: Dennis “Mike” Olson 302 votes (40 percent), Tiffany Langer 282 votes (37 percent), and David Welling 177 votes (23 percent).

In the race for U.S. Senate 21 with of 667 precincts reporting, Mike Rounds (1,528 votes and 81 percent) leads Scyller Borglum (350 votes and 19 percent).

In the race for U.S. Representative, Dusty Johnson (1,558 votes and 83 percent) leads Liz Marty May (315 votes and 17 percent).

In the race for Democratic Presidential nominee, Joe Biden (1,618 votes and 87 percent) lead Bernie Sanders (237 votes and 13 percent).
