Winter weather expecting to hit Northeast SD Tuesday

ABERDEEN, S.D.(HubCityRadio)- On Monday, the National Weather Service in Aberdeen has posted Winter Weather Advisories for most of northeast South Dakota for Tuesday.

Meteorologist Katherine King preview what to expect on Tuesday.

With temperatures most of the fall has been well above the freezing mark, King was asked how much of the snow could stick on the ground & pavement after the system passes.

Winds are expected to be at times around 35-40mph during the advistory.  King because there are no snow on the ground for now don’t expect to see blizzard like conditions.

Winter Weather Advsiories are going into effect starting at 3AM for those listening in the Eureka, Ipswich, and Mobridge areas(Those are until 6PM) while Aberdeen & Webster’s advisory doesn’t begin until 6AM going until midnight.
