ABERDEEN, S.D. (Press release) – Beginning at approximately 8 a.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, weather permitting the Aberdeen Fire Department will begin flow-testing fire hydrants in the following area:

From Railroad Avenue South to City Limits

between

South Dakota Street and South Roosevelt Street

The fire department will be opening hydrants and residents will experience some water pressure changes, and in some instances, the water will be disturbed to the point of discoloring or appearing rusty. The project will continue until all hydrants in this area have been tested. Any questions or concerns can be reported to the Public Works Department at 626-7010.
